The summer heat is burning through Teleria, evaporating any traces of corruption from the stone buildings in the Bastion, and even dungeons west of Alresh cannot keep the gates closed much longer, inviting fresh air and teams into the Champion Proving Grounds.

Mercurial Set rebalance

Let's go a bit more into the Mercurial Set rebalance

At the moment, we see two key issues with the Mercurial Set:

• Lack of counter mechanics
• Reapplication of Total Guard stacks at the beginning of a Champion's turn, especially on fast Champions
  

When compared to Stone Skin, which has plenty of counters, Total Guard stacks can currently only be removed by dealing damage or bypassed with the Increase Skill Cooldown effect. That's why we're introducing a new vulnerability for the Mercurial Set - the [Provoke] debuff.

After the rebalance, you will be able to land [Provoke] debuff on Champions while bypassing their Total Guard stacks. Furthermore, Champions under [Provoke] debuff will not have their Total Guard stacks refreshed at the start of their turn.

We hope that with this change, Champions who can reliably apply [Provoke] debuff - many of whom have fallen out of the meta for a while now - will finally come out of the Vault and join you in the Arena.

The Mercurial Set rebalance is planned for September, but there may be delays due to additional testing.

As always, once the changes go into effect, we'll take some time to evaluate the data and hear your feedback to determine whether any additional changes are necessary.

MacOS 27 Web window issues.

Due to software-side changes on MacOS 27 web windows, such as the Events or Tournaments pages, may encounter some loading issues. We are already working on a solution for it on our side, but here is the manual solution for the issue:

• Open Terminal — press ⌘ + Space, type "Terminal", press Return.
• Copy and paste this line, then press Return:softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license
• (optionally)  If the license text appears. Type A and press Return to agree.
• Wait until you see "Install of Rosetta 2 finished successfully".
• Restart the game — the web pages will load again.

p/s Rosetta is the software that needs to be installed.

New Promo code issues

Last week, we had delays in activating promo codes for many new players. The main issue was already addressed, so there should be little to no delay after entering the promo code. If you are still experiencing any issues, please contact our support team.
