Hey Raiders! We have an important update about the Champion of the current Mixed Fusion event - Sanguine Maria.
We acknowledge that the mechanics of Sanguine Maria do not work according to the role we intended for this Champion. Due to the almost incessant series of strikes that she is able to deliver with her A1 to bosses, she can deal with high-level PvE content much more easily than she is supposed to, all the while receiving minimal, if any, assistance from other Champions. Even though she needs to be built in a very specific way to show such spectacular PvE performance, it puts her too much out of line with the role we initially designed her for.
Thus, we decided to adjust Maria's skills, all the while aiming to retain her value for Arena-like encounters:
If all goes well, we plan to activate the described changes in a week or two.
Have a great day ahead!
Just some questions for ya to think about
Why did you guys wait 3 hours after summon rush started to post this?
Why can't we play this game the way we want to play it?
Why can't you see what the your player base does with the champion before nerfing her?
Why is it gonna take until the fusion ends for the nerfs to come in?
Are we just supposed to trust that we arn't gonna get screwed over?
Dear Plarium team,
You can't be serious about the adjustment to Bloody Maria, can you?
You release a new fusion and then realise after the events have started that it's too good?
I would assume that your developers tested the fusion extensively beforehand and revised it accordingly. At least, that's what I believed until today.
And then you see content creators on YouTube testing the new champion in absolute endgame gear with a six-star soul and nine Merciless pieces, and you decide that the damage is too high.
The vast majority of players will never reach these values.
As a low spender, I have to save up for many resources for a while, for example for sacred shards. Today, I spent six of them for virtually nothing because I'm no longer doing the fusion.
Once again, thanks for nothing.
If you make these adjustments, she becomes just another run of the mill Legendary (which there are enough of already!). And then to do it after players have invested time, resources and money? That is rediculous! If you are going to make this adjustment, then you need to offer players to get their money and resources back who were expecting a specific type of Legendary, not a water-down version!!!
Nice to see that there is some consistency in our ever-changing world.
1). Plarium consistently insists to release only useless champions at Halloween fusion.
2). Plarium is consistent in it's money-mooching tendencies, first causing players to spend, then de-evaluating what they spent on.
3). Plarium consistently lies by omission, making game mechanics as vague, unpredictable and untraceable as possible.
4). Plarium consistently accounts only for magnitude of the impact, completely disregarding the possibility of occurrence.
Well, it leaves me no choce but to be consistent as well, and keep zero-spendings policy for the current year.
I'm a bit confused. You are nerfing a character that the bulk of the players couldn't have gotten yet since the event barely started? Please give the general populace a try on the unnerfed version first to see if it really is overpowered for most of us or just a couple people that have stuff most of us will never get. Shouldn't it go by the way most of it is played by most of us?
You are nerfing Maria, my beautiful Maria, because of a video made by a content creator with a very high level relics, 6 Star souls and a very high artifacts. This is a very stupid and wrong move. No one cares that she overtakes the dungeon bosses.

Hey there! We totally get your point. Our team carefully looked into Maria’s performance across many different cases. The goal wasn’t to make her weaker, but to keep her powerful while making her overall performance more balanced and closer to her intended role. In other words, Maria is still a strong Champion - she just won’t be able to solo bosses anymore.

Hey ! 👋 Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts -those are all fair questions, and we completely understand your concerns.
We wanted to give players clear information as soon as we had full confirmation about the planned changes. That’s why we didn’t want to post anything before all details were verified. Our goal is to ensure that any adjustments are thoroughly verified before being implemented, so that we don’t cause unintended issues. That’s why we need some time to make these changes live. And finally, we know trust is earned, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we work to keep the game balanced and enjoyable.

Hey! Thanks so much for your honest feedback. It's never our goal to make players feel like their time or resources aren’t valued. Balancing Champions and events can be tricky, and we’re always working to keep the game fair for everyone while maintaining a healthy game environment. We hear you, and we’ll make sure your feedback gets to the team. We also hope that future updates will give you even more reasons to enjoy the game and feel confident in your choices.
Plarium forgets that people spend hard-earned money and time to play this game, yet devalues the champions people spend lots of money to get...
If I knew she would be nerfed before she got started, I probably would have skipped the fusion. After spending to procure 100 void shards, no Leo, even when guaranteed, not even one legendary. Just a bunch of cardinals, and you still want to nerf Maria that we have not acquired
Never again....
I understand you needed to nerf Maria due to the unexpected performance in boss fights. I don't understand why you had to weaken her strength in every encounter to do so. Why not just cap her repeat boss attacks at some acceptable number, but DON"T WEAKEN HER IN EVERY OTHER BATTLE AS WELL?!?!?
Hello again :)
Not sure, why you banned me, when I expressed the, I'd say the majority of the RAIDers opinion on this topic, but anyway :)
This time I will be a bit shorter and less "critical" ;), so please PLARIUM ;)
Make proper use of your TEST servers and make sure that you test thoroughly the NEW CHAMPIONS before you release them, people start spending money on crazy events, and then you f*up the champion by some nerf or other restriction, which at first point made most players to spend resources an din most cases money for that NEW CHAMPION.
It just doesn't look OK for you ;)
By the way, after I wached the video from one of the content creators, I was sure that there will be a nerf on this new champ, an dthi swas one of the reasons I did not go for her fusion. Other reason was that my resources got drained by the TMNT Summer events :)
Anyway, everybody can pick which events to go for and which can be skipped.
Good luck to everybody who is going fo rher and hopefully she will still worth it, after the nerf.
P.S. I will refrain from the "greedyness" topic, because this is anyway already noted by every second player ;)
