When you have a Relic like Diadem of Undeath or Gilded Dragonstone that modifies Defense by a percentage, is that a percentage of Base Defense or Total Defense?

That is certainly my hope.  It is a significant difference.  Any chance you could confirm that before I invest too much in upgrading those relics?

Here is a Relic Suggestion.  Create a set of "Standard" Relic Crafting Materials.  These would have a 100% chance to craft Relics from the Standard Group and can be used as Rewards for Placing 1st-4th in Tournaments, just like the Event Group Materials have been for the past couple of months.  We finally had a reason to try to win most tournaments versus trying to place in whatever position had the most gems.....now we are back to the same old crap.

Thanks for the followup.  I threw a +9 Diadem of Undeath on Visix for Hydra, so that should be giving her +3% Defense for every active Ally Protect, which would be a 15% boost to both Defense and straight into Damage for about 70% of the fight....and her damage actually went down comapred to previous runs, which makes me question whether this Relic is doing anything at all.

Was confirmed as total defense entering the fight as you'd expect.
