Can you have multiple accounts joining in the same clan?

Just tell your friend to search the clan name your in and  join.....simple

I'm not sure Clan Leaders can actually do it from the "invitations" button. The Plarium article says Deputies can invite people though.

"Clan Deputies can send Invitations to recruit new Members, as well as accept or reject applications from other Players to join the Clan. " 

It's odd that deputies can do it and leaders cannot. 

The other ways mentioned (joining the same general chat & clicking invite from there. I was able to do that. Or having them search for your clan and apply.) will work too.

Clan leaders can definitely invite folks the same as Deputies. Just a wording issue, or lackthereof. 

How? (Without having them go into the the same general chat I'm in. )

One of my mbr's son wanted to join and I could find no way to invite him. He might have been offline at the time, but that should not have mattered either. When I went to "invitations", which seems like the only place it would be possible, the search did not work. I tried several names of people active in the general chat who were not in my clan and I couldn't find them either.

Yeah, this functions the same way for both Deputies and Leaders. 

Unfortunately there isn't a search function in game to find players and you need people to apply or be in the same chat to send an invite. Can also invite folks from other clans as long as they don't have the option to not receive invites checked. 

I see in the chat different Clans posting "Taking new members" with the "Join Clan" button right there. I am a clan leader how do I do this for my clan? I see this on all different channels.

3. Invitations 
4. Bottom right press the ''Recruit Members'' button.
