I've just been digging around the forums, and it looks like this is a common issue for M1 chip users?

Should i be downloading a different client that supports the M1 chip or has my play time just been drastically cut down? :( 

me paso lo mismo , ya esta  solucionado. y debes poner ( rosseta 2 ) para correr pkg que son compatibles con mac de chip intel

did you find a solution to this problem installing platinum play with the m1 chip
