I'm trying to load the next hero battle screen for the main storyline and it won't load!

It clears the first lot of stuff, then gets stuck at "LoadPools : Running : 0%"

I have tried quitting the game twice and starting it up again, which easily loads inside my fortress, but has stopped loading the battle screen for the third time. When I log back in, it says there was an unfinished battle and I have the option of submitting data to the game team, but I still lose the energy spent on the battle when it didn't even load!

I'm on Mac, using the Plarium Play app. I have a weak internet connection living rurally, so that might be a problem, but it can't be helped.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? If I can't load battles, I can't progress in the game.

UPDATE: It has resolved itself! Was probably just slow loading because of my terrible internet speed.
