Yes, this happened to me on my first Void Shard. Plarium didn't care much either.

Day 72 login bonus Void shard. Upon summoning the champion the loading screen froze in place. I then closed the app and opened it up. Shard was gone and no new champion in my selection system.

which shard type was it. let me know if you still have this issue, if so send me your in game id and details about the issue (shard type, when you pulled it)

I can only say that it was my first Void, probably around August 10.
As mentioned before, a Void Shard.

This happen to me the other day as well. With a ancient shard I opened a ticket as well right after. Was two days ago.

when I summoned sacred shard, server error was happened and I pushed the RETRY button but the error was not recovered.
I restarted the game and found I lost two sacred shards with no champions.
