In between fights in the arena my champions, Galek and Sniper lost levels. Galek was around lvl31 and is now lvl3. Sniper dropped from around lvl19 to lvl1.  When I first log in and go to the champions window there is a spinning blue wheel on both of those characters. The wheel continues to spin until I leave the window and come back again however the levels are still gone. This happened yesterday and I have logged several times even on a different device.
