Warpriest divine light ally heal part not working correctly

Title: Warpriest divine light ally heal part not working correctly

Device: PC client

OS: Win 10

WTR (way to reproduce an issue):

Step 1: Use warpriests divine light with the target being a high hp champion

Step 2: Observe how allies are not receiving a heal value matching 10% of the targets MAX HP as per the skill description

Description:

I noticed this as i was doing normal clan boss manually instead of auto, since i have had some bad luck with debuffs and i wanted to see if i could improve by doing it manually. Sadly i did not screenshot during clan boss. Instead i went to the dragons lair to take a screenshot.

Here is an example:

The target of Divine Light (warpriest is ascended, skill has no books) is Coffin Smasher to the left. Allies are supposed to be healed by 10% of the targets MAX HP. By looking at the numbers above, you would then assume that the Coffin Smasher in this image has ~22-26k max health.

However, the Coffin Smasher in the image has 40k hp, so 10% of that should be 4000 healed (why is there a variance in the amount healed in the first place?).

For your convenience, here is a screenshot of the skill state of the skill used:

And here is the stat sheet of the Coffin Smasher being the heal target in the first image, showing that his MAX HP is 40k:

Looking at the amount healed in the first image and the stats of the targets, it looks like the Divine Light skill is using the health value of the artifact bonus rather than the total amount of health aka MAX HP as the skill description indicates.

Hi

The heals are multiplicatives not addictive.

Doesn't really apply to this case. That would apply if i thought booked up +healing% was not healing the amount listed (i already know these are multiplicative).

However, the base ascended skill, not including any +healing from books, not including any +healing from sets, not including any +healing from masteries in this case should be 10% of 40.065 (0.1*40065) is 4006.5 ally healing value. And as you can see it is not.

I think i have identified the issue with the Divine Light skill. The problem is that either:

a) the ally heal portion is not working as described

- or -

b) the description is wrong/misleading

Let me reiterate the skill description here:

"Heals a target ally by 20% of their MAX HP. Heals all allies except the target by 10% of the target's MAX HP."

The problem is the wording, where the word "target" is used 3 times in the description, but the first 2 times it means one thing and the last time it means something else:

- The first part "target ally" refers to the champion you click on

- The second part "except the target" also refers to the champion you click on

- But the last part "of the target's MAX HP" suddenly doesn't mean the target you clicked on, but instead the ally receiving the heal meaning they get healed for 10% of their OWN MAX HP instead of the champion you targetted for the skill

Here are some screenshots to back it up:

Coffin Smasher is the target of Divine Light and gets healed by 20% of 40k MAX HP = ~8k. Instead of getting healed by 10% of 40k, the rest are healed by 10% of THEIR OWN MAX HP:

- Galek has 24.5k, so he should be healed by 2.45k which roughly fits the screenshot

- Apothecary has 21.5k, so he should be healed by 2.15k which roughly fits the screenshot

- Outlaw Monk has 20.7k, so he should be healed by 2.07k which roughtly fits the screenshot

- Warpriest has 24.7k, so she should be healed by 2.47k which roughly fits the screenshot

In other words:

IF THE SKILL IS WORKING AS INTENDED, THEN THE SKILL DESCRIPTION IS WRONG

Here are some more examples:

Outlaw monk is the target. Gets 20% of his MAX HP, rest get 10% of their MAX HP

Apothecary is the target. Gets 20% of his MAX HP, rest get 10% of their MAX HP

Long story short, the skill description should be:

"Heals a target ally by 20% of their MAX HP. Heals all allies except the target by 10% of their MAX HP."

Or, the skill should be fixed to properly heal allies of 10% of the SELECTED champions MAX HP.

Like Onde I read "Heals a target ally by 20% of their MAX HP. Heals all allies except the target by 10% of the target's MAX HP." and I expected the rest of the team to be healed by 10% of the MAX HP of the champion that I click after clicking the spell. Either the spell is bugged or the third use of "target" is an error.

Hi

Do you have some screenshot or video from this ?

I have noticed the same issue.

"Heals a target ally by 20% of their MAX HP. Heals all allies except the target by 10% of the target's MAX HP."

This description leads me to believe that there is a single "target" for this skill (call them TGT).  The skill does two things:

  1. It heals TGT for 20% of TGTs Max hp.
  2. It heals all other allies (not TGT) for 10% of TGTs Max hp.

This means that when you pick a target, there should be only 2 different heal values - 1 character gets healed for X and 3-4 characters get healed for 1/2 * X each.

I took 4 people to a dungeon and healed them.  No Aura on leader.

  1. A lvl2, 3*, conqurer (no gear at all, no masteries, no ascension):  HP:  ~2800
  2. A lvl30,  3*, Hyria (no gear at all, no masteries, no ascension):  HP:  ~4700
  3. A lvl 40, 4*, Coffin Smasher (geared in immortal, 3 ascension, masteries):  HP: ~28400
  4. A level 32, 4* Warpriest (geared, 4ascension, no masteries, fully booked):  HP:  ~17000

I targeted Coffin Smasher with Divine Light.

TGT = Coffin Smasher

20% of his health is 5680  +  book bonus:(.20*5680) =  5680 + 1136 = 6816

10% of his health is 2840 + book bonus:(.20*2840) = 2840 + 568 = 3408

So, casting divine light on coffin smasher should heal coffin smasher for ~6816, and everyone else for ~3408 each.

But that's not what happens.

Instead, each ally (other than TGT) is healed for 10% of *their* max hp.

Lvl2 conquer:  10% of his health is 280 + book bonus(.20*280) = 336

Lvl30 hyria:     10% of her health is: 470 + book bonus:(.20*470) = 564

Lvl32 warpriest:  10% of her health is 1700 + book bonus(.20*1700) = 2040

As you can see from the screenshot and video below, these latter values are almost exactly what's shown on the screen.  (there's a 2nd heal going on coffin smasher below the 6.8k heal (for 2.5k) that's due to the immortal gear and his turn coming up after warpriest.)

There are 4 very distinctly different values on the screen instead of the expected 2 (should have been 6.8k for coffin smasher, and 3.4k for each of the others).  Coffin smasher was healed for the expected 20% of his HP, but none of the others were healed for anything even remotely close to 10% of his HP.  For example, the conquerer is healed for 334hp -   about 3000 hp less than the skill description leads you to believe he should be healed for.
