Annoyingly Plarium writes user data into /Users/ How can one change this to another folder that will not be sync'd to the cloud? thanks

It isn't possible to change the folder which is set by default. This feedback is forwarded to the devs.
Adding one empty file named .nosync to a folder ~/Documents/PlariumPlay will prevent that folder from syncing.
Any word on an update to this issue?
This is a fairly poor experience on Mac and effectively makes the game unplayable for anyone who uses their Documents folder as intended.
+1 => If you do not allow access to the Documents folder, the games will no longer be downloaded
