I put a Bloodshield Ring on my Teodor the Savant, I figure 5% of his main A1 wud be decent plus the stats were the best so why not? May not be bugged but he just hit 4  for 5-6k and he got 80 for a shield, and I retried it a few times. I understand a penalty for it being aoe but to do over 22k total dmg and only recieved 80shield is alittle funny haha.

My guess is there is a penalty, I also guess the calc. Is missing the multiplier so it's just taking one of the hits and applying a penalty to it. Just a guess!  80 is around 1.5%  of 5/6 k dmg area I was in so that's why I think that.

Really wondering if this is normal or how it is supposed to function?

P.S I started to late to receive a Rathalos BladeMaster so... Just saying 😉
