Had an issue with purchasing silver with gems- in short, the gems disappeared but the money didn't appear! Bit of a problem as I was trying to upgrade an artifact in time to progress in the challenge. 

UPDATE- Found where the gold went, but purely by accident. There's no message for spending 140 gems, I only saw it when I tried 40 instead. Expensive glitch!!
