Steps you performed in the game before the issue occurred.
Select Battle
Select Campaign
Select any one of the 12 Campaign zones
select any stage
select 2 to 4 party members
select Multi-Battle
set your 'Number of Battles'
Start Multi-Battle
Description of the issue.
Once you zone into the Multi-Battle you will only have your Party Leader in the fight.
NO ERROR MESSAGE IS GIVEN.

As pointed out by elitkin81 below multi-battle removes all party members with full experience, unless that member is the leader
