I got the exact same problem, but with the offense artifact mission. I also cant find any possible working sollution. Pls note me if you fixed it

Exact same problem for me as well, Have tried all I can think of without success. 

Why is the developer failing so bad on an issue multiple people are reporting?

Thhis mission is completely effed up. If tapped, it succinctly states ‘There’s always room for improvement. Upgrade 6 Life Artifacts on a Rare Support type Champion to Level 4 or higher.’

Well, one Champ had 4 pieces equipped and upgraded to 12. The other 2 pieces were off-set. So, used a different Rare Support Chanp with full set of Life Artifacts to level 5 (or greater). Only got 3/6 credit on the orignal Champ; none for the new one, nor any credit for upgrading every Life Artifact in my possession.

I know the mission progression seems like a bug, but 90% of the time it's just because the missions are done incorrectly. I'll list a few factors you have to keep in mind when upgrading the artifacts.

• Must be a rare champion
• Must be a support type champion
• Must be life artifacts
• The artifacts must be new (can't be upgraded before you receive the mission)
• Must be upgraded to level 4
• Artifacts must be equipped before upgrading them.

• Must be a rare champion
• Must be a support type champion
• Must be life artifacts
• The artifacts must be new (can't be upgraded before you receive the mission)
• Must be upgraded to level 4
• Artifacts must be equipped before upgrading them.
