I'm not sure how it happened. I'll try to recreate the issue, but I managed to get stuck after finishing a stage.
In the screenshot you can see I'm now at Round 1 of 0. Game is still responding, I can still use the chat.
However the pause button does not work. It only makes a sound when I press it, but no pop-up appears.
I'll update this topic if I find out more about how I got myself in this situation.
I've discussed this with the Devs and we'll need a few more bits of information if you can provide it!
I have not been able to recreate the situation.
Yes I had chat open. I've tried to recreate it with chat open and also with chat open while typing,
but both times the victory screen popped up like it should.
I was playing on my pc using BlueStacks when this happened.
i7-4770K, 16GB, Windows 10 Pro
GeForce GTX 1070, Driver 397.64
BlueStacks 3N, client version 4.1.21.2018
I posted the issue because I was hoping you guys could maybe work backwards and figure out what could get the player in this situation.
It only happened once.
I had nearly the same issue with bluestacks. Sometimes game hangs at the battle end (happened like 5 times for me). Also I figured that it happening at same time as you getting new cards / pika notifications from bluestacks.
Despite I have yearly BS subscription this feature can not be disabled.
