Wow that is a super-interesting mechanic. So, what is happening here is, Peril "applies" a Block Revive debuff, which you never actually see because ... well, the person in question dies.
*However*, in your example at the start of the video (didn't watch it through), if you look really carefully, you'll see the words "Target Changed" appear. That happens because the person you used it on is wearing a Deflection set, which has a chance to change the target of debuffs when they are applied.
You'll also see the "Block Revive" "debuff" appear over Mortu at the same time. However, it doesn't seem like they bothered to actually *make* a Block Revive debuff icon, so you don't actually see it on Mortu.
yeah, I noticed it now, Plarium needs to fix this, block revival is not a debuff, should not be deflected.
It is a debuff it stops the act of something such as reviving i guess it's a agurment for how you see it
debuff something that stops weakns or hurts the target even slowing like block buffs is a debuff

Isn't the Target Changed due to Yumeko's Hex debuff that she has on the attacking Ursuga? I watch out for this when there is an enemy Yumeko on the other team, and go after the revivers first if she has me hexed.
Yeah it could be due to that as well - but either way, it is something which I didn't think was possible for Block Revive, since ... well, it's not typically considered a debuff, and, importantly, is *not* stopped by Block Debuffs.
It COULD be? Hex debuff out, target changed as per debuff and champ skill. lol
If you're not planning for Yumeko Hex to potentially stop everything, you're gonna get some odd losses here and there. The edge cases add up over time to shift the percentages of fights, especially close ones. :)
I'm just saying, it could *also* be from the Deflection set? Unless you're saying definitively that it cannot.
Yes, you are potentially NOT wrong.
But I will continue to mostly ignore the possibility of deflection sets, cause you can't see them, and pay attention to the debuffs currently on the field of play that do the things that happened. LMAO

Done some more research for us and spoke with powers that be, just to be sure. Deflection cannot redirect the Block Revive from Mortu. So that's your answer there.
Interestingly, Yumeko should NOT be able to do this actually, and it causes a targeting error. Known/reported issue.
PS... if you have evidence of a deflection with no Yumeko on the teams, let me know please, cause it does not work this way.

If that's the case, then that drastically reduces the usefulness of Deflection sets, which wasn't all that high to begin with. After seeing this video, I invested a little into Deflection, and equipped my dupe Riho just as an experiment, with the intent to do it for a few others. But seeing how this is a dead end, i better invest the hammers into s. parry...
It's actually a shame it's a bug, as a feature would be more fun...
The Peril of trusting but not verifying :(
Going forward it's good to know it's Yumeko and not Deflection causing this interaction, thanks to @harleQuinn

I see what you did there.

It's not even a bug with Deflection. Deflection didn't cause the interaction in the video. :)
Twas Yumeko, and she's not supposed to do this either. Known issue, I am told. It's a shame my Yumeko won't be a sneaky backup protection against Peril at some point anymore though. :(

Happy to help make sure no one is forging sets they shouldn't! lol
