No. There's no 10x's on specific champions during this 2x, so pull at your hearts content - as long as it's before the 2x on Ancients ends. 

I can get a Legendary tome if I pull 300 mystery shards.  A good deal?

Yeah definitely. Though maybe wait until nearer to the end of the event, maybe you'll get some more ancient shards to use.
