I feel like there are 3 distinct ways to gear Valkyrie.
(1) High Accuracy & Def (but low damage)
(2) High Resist & Def (but low damage)
(3) Good damage & Def
Can anyone provide insight on what would work well with Arena and Hydra? Or are those 2 different gearing approaches?

Valk is a DEF-based champ, so 2 and 3 should basically be the same. The only question is whether or not you need RES. For Arena, you probably do. For Hydra, you probably don't.
In Arena, what's more valuable for her: High Res (to make sure she doesnt't die and keeps giving her team shields and counters), or High Accuracy to help reduce enemy turn meters?

It depends on the rotation. You absolutely cannot have your buffs being stolen by Mischief so we're gonna need RES there, too. Overall it puts a lot of RES pressure on those comps on top of it being a super slow run.
