The drop ratio was screwed up, I think they actually fixed it. But it was off for so long that you will never even it out.  

I think the drop rate is still rough, actually. From what I heard recently, still working on a fix for this imbalance.....

I also have this problem, sometimes i intentionally hit a low level faction wars level to try and get some more epic materials.

Me too actually, which is silly cause I want my glyphs. Very much look for a better fix int her future, like an ability to break some of the big ones into smaller ones.

I wouldn't necro this thread if Plarium would have solved the problem, but that's the actual screen of my forge materials.

I did stage 13 in a faction - and got legendary materials. In stage 13! 👎

What do I have to do to get epic materials? And why can't the ratio of epics and legendaries be like this when I open shards?

Run stage 21....I normally get more than enough epic materials from there...my 2 run on Demons just a few minutes ago

I run only the highest stage I can do normally, for a lot of crypts that's 21. The outcome you can see in my picture above. Doing much lower stages today was only a try to get those epics.

I did not forge any 4-5* items, wich would waste epic materials. After forging roughly fifty 5-6* I'm with 22 epic materials vs. 1624 legendaries. Enough legendary materials to forge 324 more items 5-6*. No epic materials. That's so ridiculous.
