If you're like me, and constantly forget to keep a stock of lesser potions for fusion events - see chart below. Take with a grain of salt, as this is datamined info, there is no guarantee it is, or will continue to be correct. Stage 15 is the optimal place for farming lesser potions:

Except that I explicitly *don't* want greater/superior. I have tons of those. I need the lesser ones to ascend the rare champs.

Go to the Tavern. Click Ascend. Click the Potion Mixer that opens below it. You can upgrade potions to a higher value. But, it is silver intensive. I do this only for dailies or missions. I prefer to harvest potions by grinding.
