But wouldnt they open up more revenue by fully advertising the string? I remember when FIFA used to do something similar, but eventually they started showing all the prices in the string because they ended up making more money. some people will buy one or 2 in the string, while others will go all the way
Currency differences will drastically alter the pricing. Also, that's a different offer pack than the OP posted?
Yes its a different offer, but allowing for currency, my offer is clearly better value per ancient?
ignoring all else i am being charged 1.12 dollars an ancient. The offer posted by the OP is 1.45 dollars an ancient
And my miscellaneous stuff is better

Yeah the specific value in each pack can differ drastically. Call it a marketing strategy if you will. If you look at the same offer the OP has, chances are the price will be the same, discounting any currency exchange differences.
Let me share a bit of what I know about pack pricing, so that everyone can make smart decisions moving forward.
First, Warrior's Circle packs are very different packs than the regular offers. They only start appearing when you haven't spent in 30+ days, and are some of the better value packs in the game.
Additionally, the AMOUNT in each offer and pack changes based on your spending, there seems to be several pack sizes, all at the same value per item, but having a different total number of things.
For example, F2P players might see a pack with 4 ancients for $10 dollars. Middle spenders might see the same pack, but with 10 ancients for $25.00. And big spenders may see the same pack with 25 ancients for $62.50, or even a pack with 40 ancients for $100. This is the "same pack" for everyone, all called something like Fantastic Ancient Pack, just set at several different tiers.
Additionally, I recommend people who have chosen to spend always take a look at the pack calculator that Chosen recommends. Look at the video and links HERE and he explains it and demonstrates its usage.
