yes some stats are weighted more heavily than others ,C rate, Cdam,Resist are the one i remember.

Yes losing 18 Resist would be a noticeable overall power loss by itself.. certain stats affect your champ's overall power more so then others, and I found that certain stats affect it moreso than others depending on what type of champion it is ( DEF based defense, ATK based Support) 

usually RES, ACC and Crit Rate will generate the most substantial power difference with most champions. All stats affect the overall rating to some degree also.

I would recommend get to work on spider team instead of the arena team.
