There are masteries that allows champion to heal on certain conditions and gears that heals every turn. 

Yes. Masteries make a big difference in your team's arena performance. It is a great use of gems for an earlier account to go ahead and buy masteries for your first true arena team. :)

Short answer - no, it is not possible to hack them that way.

Probably your opponents just wear a regenration set, that heals the champion by 15% each turn. Definetly no hack, but I remember, when I started in arena, opponent teams of a single Miscreated Monster wearing this set destroyed my arena team. Happens to every new player in the game, no reason to worry. 

Whst do you mean by gears. I'm not a newbie, 6mo. In but I never heard of that term.

I was considering that, but every member on the enemy team was healing every round (no hero ability) and every attack as well. Life steal is a 4pc set, as well as regeneration. No possible way this can happen. No masteries that can do this. Unless their is a doom tower set I do not know about.

Regeneration is a four piece set, as well as life steal. The enemy team had no healing support champions. There is no way I know to rig a champions to heal per turn and on attack at the same time.

I said they were healing per turn, and on attack. You would have to be wearing a lifesteal and regeneration set to do that, and that cannot be done. Unless their is a doom tower set I don't know about. 

They could have been wearing an immortal set and lifesteal.

I do not recall any mysteries except "exhaust in death" that heals a champion. I'm not a newbie, and I know you would need a lifesteal and regeneration set to accomplish this, and both are 4 piece sets. Unless their is a doom tower set I don't know about. But these opponents were using just upped rare champions no higher then rank 4. None with group healing.

The whole enemy team? Maybe. But their heal rate seemed too high for immortal.

OK, just tested that theory. That may have been it. That 3% goes a long way if your champ has a lot of hp.

There is the Lifedrinker masterie as well. If they where below 50% hp from your attacks, they could leech each turn.

How do you determine team strength for Arena battles?  Seems you got it wrong as hell!  A team with 24 strength beats my team with 38?

Team strength is considerably less important than how well your team plays together, what debuffs they apply, how fast they are and how strong your nuker is.

Lifedrinker and Shadow Heal come to mind in addition to Exhaust in Death.

And there is a Doom Tower set, Bloodthirst. Harbby mentioned Immortal at 3% and Regeneration at 15%.
