Her a3 hits hard when it gains extra hit on enemies. If you are in a low level stage or against low level enemies in arena where enemies have low resistance, your Trunda will most likely hit only once so you will not see the full potential of her a3.

Well, actually you should 6-star her and give her good equipment. You should have 100 % crit rate on her and as high attack/crit damage as possible. Put her in a savage/cruel gear and she will hit more like a truck. The number you are given....they seem to be awfully low. My Trunda-Dupe at level 47 without books and ascension, with 2 pieces of equipment lvl 8 hits for such numbers on her A1...and much more (like 15k) on her A3....so somehow your equipment seems to be optimizable.

Can you post a screenshot of her stats?  I suspect you might have a crit rate and crit damage difference between her and your other champs like Galek

As others have said it is probably down to the lack of crit damage or crit rate, and although i dont have trunda i understand you need to avoiod accuracy if you want her to hit twice on her big aoe.

I haven't started optimizing her and I plan to do these things, but I expect more from this:

My Marked who I was leveling for faction was hitting almost as hard side-by-side during xp runs with these stats:

You can look at the damage multipliers of the attacks at sites like Ayumi or Hellhades.

It's very strange that your Marked hits harder than Turnda. Marked has an impressive 4.7 x atk damagemultiplier on her A2 (according to Ayumi), with your actual atk stat 5832 base damage, while Trunda has a damagemultiplier of only 3 x atk on her A3. But with the immense ammount of atk Trunda has, this leads to 8094 base damage with your stats, even if the second hit from the A3 does not proc.

Maybe you observed one single hit where Marked had a crit and Trunda not and generalize that observation?

i wish.  I watched the 2 of them through dozens of campaign runs.  Hellhades is my go to. 

Are you sure you're not looking at Trunda's A2 damage? Her A2 has a rather unique interaction - she deals 60% of the damage she does to the main target to all targets, but this does *not* include overkill damage. So if her target has 1 hp, she'll kill that target, then do 1 damage to all other targets.
