Add a visual indicator of turn order and magnitude

I would say one of the most common threads on these forums involves a lack of understanding of turn order and ticks. And I don't blame the people creating them - I've been playing this game for about a year, and I still regularly shrug my shoulders at how it works.

As an example, an arena matchup I had where the other team's Arbiter won the speed race, followed by his Helmut and Serris. After Serris, my Arbiter stepped in, and then his Astralon acted instead of my Kymar, who is fast enough to go immediately after Arbiter.

I "understand" how this happens, broadly speaking - Astralon's turn meter was boosted above 100% because of the tick after my Arbiter's action, while my Kymar was still behind him despite being boosted.

But the murkiness of this makes it very difficult to predict. And there's no reason for this at all.

I suggest two things:

1) Show the next X champions to act, in the order they will act in. I don't know what X should be, I'm not a UI designer, but it should be at least 4.

2) Space them out in a way that indicates the magnitude of the difference. When combat started in my above example, the order would perhaps "naturally" be his Arbiter -> my Arbiter -> his Helmut -> my Kymar. After his Arbiter's turn, the new order would be his Helmut -> my Arbiter -> my Kymar -> his Serris, etc... But each of those would be spaced apart in a manner indicating just how much they are differing by. Even better would be to put numeric values to make this explicitly clear.

This would significantly improve the experience.  But I doubt they're going to drop everything and start working on it.

It will be confusing when you see the turn order keeps on changing on certain situations like Foli, he can steal or over take a turn because of his passive. Lady Kimi has passive that has potential to steal a turn. Rotos can take a turn when he receives required damage from his passive. I believe there are also champions who have extra turn mechanic on their a1, and they were joined with an ally attack champion. There is Valk's passive that can also ruin your turnorder if one resisted her passive and others did not. And there are probably more situations where turnorder can immediately altered. Because of these, turnorder indicator is pointless.

So, since you made this we're now dealing with Hydra. How much trouble is the TM overflow for  in the snek fights?

Honestly - it's hard to really know how much of an impact it'd have on Hydra. For Arena, the impact is much easier to judge, since the fights are so short. For Hydra, "usually" I know if I'll get a turn before they go.

Where it matters especially, though, is in planning out when you use your abilities. A good example is when I have someone who is dead, but also the Decay head isn't provoked. If I use my revive first, I get much more value, but I also potentially can't cycle back fast enough. If I had some idea of how much of an overflow the head had, I'd get a better idea of whether I can afford to delay.

Nice necro Quinn! LOL

I am guessing nothing going to be added, timing to hold back aoes when champ is eaten is extremely difficult.  I just go ultra conservative on NM and the opposite on lower levels.  With inc speed on my team and dec speed on the heads, you can really run laps around the hydra.

With that said, I'd like the head that is about to eat ny champ highlighted in some manner.  It seems often the counter is at 0, but heads take turns and skipping so to speak.... if that makes any sense. Or I just don't fully understand the mechanics.  Sometimes I try and guess so I can get geo burn up just b4... I am not always successful...

Yeah - the skipping is annoying. I know for sure that Decay will not devour if the timer ticks to it while it is provoked. I know that Wrath *will* devour when the timer ticks to it while it has its Vengeance buff active (so you can cheat it out to skip the dangerous attack). From what I can tell, Mischief will always devour when it is its turn. Toxic, I *think*, will use the Toxic Cloud buff instead of devouring. The other two I haven't paid enough attention to, but I wouldn't be surprised if Suffering would use its Ally Protect move instead of devour.

Thx! I will pay more attention next week, see if I can help complete the puzzle. As for suffering, I hope u r correct.   By far the worst to have eat and then u get 1 turn to kill...
