u cant get sakred shards thru game, plarium gives only 1-2 montly, only way to gain sakred is by dollars !!!???
You can also grind Doom Tower & complete NM campaign, you might be able to get lucky with UNM CB.
If my numbers are correct, you get about 10-12 sacred shards each month if your clan is able to lay down CB6 daily and you get the highest chest.
You could finish DT hard to get another shard (well not this month I think).
You can finish your rotation fo daily tasks....so that is about 15-16 sacreds each rotation between x2-events.
And to add it: Yes, the prices are much too high. You could buy multiple A-rated complete games instead of some sacred shards. That is up to yourself to decide whether this is worth it.

What do you mean by "solo alone player"? You mean without joining a clan? It is possible, I have defeated NM boss by myself before for completing the arbiter quests when I was in a clan that couldn't even kill brutal, so I enabled UNM by myself. But it is definitely not optimal, once you have a team capable of doing 70M in 1/2 keys you should join a clan that kills UNM CB daily
There is no reason in the game for not joining a clan. Only benefits and no disadvantage anywhere.
