The problem with discord is, that even if the community is much more active there, some mods are trying to assemble and give the feedback of the community to the devs....the decisive managers at Plarium at not listening to the feedback.

The other issues with discord are spam and retention of information. Unless a dev or community manager is right there paying close attention to the stream; many important things can and will be missed.
Forums don't scroll at the speed of light and posts made here are longer lasting, generate more community involvement and are generally a better and more accepted way for game administration to interact with fans. I guess that's what happens to an online gaming companies policies when they are purchased by a mega-huge gambling company.
