Maybe you should have wasted invested some time for pressing the "i" in the prortal and read about the chances. 1% for a legendary during the 2x event from a blue shard. 

I think I've gotten 3 legos from blue shards over the last seven months, it happens just not often. Lots of epics from them though. Once you can hit nm and unm you end up having like 30+ ancients every time these double chances events come around. 

It is rng as mentioned, having said that it is definitely frustrating at times

Evilized is right that being able to do unm and nm helps a lot.

I pulled 51, i got 5 epics, none of which are worth levelling. No legos.

Unfortunately i missed one of the fusion events due to work and the euros and as i cant complete champion chase now - i cant do the fusion either

Thats the game i guess, but to the op it isnt worth stressing over as it is indeed just a game.. 

Out of 30 blue shards, you'd have to be quite lucky to get a legendary (you have a 26 percent chance). But even if you had pulled 100, you might still not have gotten one. 

It's really a question of luck - sometimes you have it, sometimes you don't. I've spent on the game in the past, but not a cent for the past six months or so, no plans to start spending again. Many times with 2x ancients, I've had poor luck, both in the period that I spent regularly and in the f2p period. But now today, I got 3 legos from just 50 ancient shards (one was a dupe and another was the current fusion champ Versulf, but still). 

Yes, there is two rng for legos, getting a lego and getting a GOOD lego. HH was lucky to pull a lego from 22 ancients, but he had not so good luck about the lego itself, getting Shamrock.

I got 2 out of 90 shards. Robar and Crypt-King Graal. I'm not sure about either of them. Got a few interesting epics though.

keep all epics... build zelotah, vergis and steelskull.  is that entire roster?

Pretty nice list of epics, even if none of them is truly top tier... besides the ones Trips already mentioned, Fenax, Luthiea, Hoforees, Sanguinia all have their uses. 

I  pulled  102  ancients  with  no  legos,  but  a  couple  of  good  epics  I  will  use  for  Faction  Wars  and  finally  an  HP  burn  champion,  Mordecai.

I would love to have an AoE burner for Spider. I don't have any of them and started to build Haarken Greatblade (debuff spread), combined with any hp burn champ (maybe Yoshi) as substitution for that.

But I need two champs where players that have Mordecai only need one.
