In the arena, you have a ranking in copper, silver or gold tiers that are effected by arena offensive battles.

Winning: you go up in standing and gain metals.

Lossing: you drop in standing, and are lowered in tier according to your new rating.

So why is that you have a defensive team and if you loss your rating drop and your tier level is effected,

but when you win the defensive battle you don't gain anything (rank change or metals earned)???
