Personally, the only one of them I still use in normal places is Scyl. I would say the best of them is Khatun. Ghrush is useful for CB if you don't have a better leech champ, and I use him for FW. Legionnary I use for FW as well.

As for eating them, you are nowhere *near* far enough in the game to be turning epics into food.

Dark  Athel is perfectly fine for early and mid  game 

After her buff Visix looks like a great turnmeter decreasing champ. I have often problems in FK and Spider stages of magic affinity, as Armiger has problems with weak hits here. I really want to get my Visix to solve that problem.

usually if you play enough arena you should encounter various builds of each of those, and use that as a guide.  also the number of people still using a champ matters. The tag comments that Plarium puts on them is usually overblown, as in "a powerful this or that".

my first time through the game I did not appreciate any champ that had "dark" in its name.  Scyl is awesome of that group.  Tanix, LL and Visix I did not keep too long.

It really all depends on which videos you find, those guys can make anything look good.

Tainix truly is trash. I leveled her up to 40 and put her in some decent 12+ gear to only see disappointment... At least I got CVC points xD

Tainix  is  trash,  but  you  can't  expect  someone  to  be  good  with  4-5  star  gear  level  12  at  level  40...

I use my DARK ELHAIN in Arena Silver I /II , and She is Good in Ice Golem 

AND Frost Spider too

then take 10 or 15  minutes while you are on Auto battle to watch the Vids and see ,,,,,,,,

BUT, also, you never know when plarium  will use one in a Fusion........

It might work out that way, She has been buffed recently.  But the game calls her a Turn Meter Terror, and 15% TM reduction on A1 does not seem to fit that.  The other two AOE skills may be useful. Try her out and see.

Its  a  double  hitter,  so  it  is  30%  turn  meter.

Oh,  and  they'll  never  use  a  daily  login  reward  in  a  fusion.
