I'm fine with the challenge not providing any rewards at all - no arena points, no great hall medals, no counting towards quests/challenges/etc. I'm even fine with the challenge requiring an arena key.
It just would be fun to be able to see how our teams do against eachother.

Every moment you spend in your proposed intraclan/training fights is a moment that you are not using expensive resources and thus a "loss" for Plarium. I doubt they will be enthused by such an innovation.

It is true that Plarium will not gain anything from this suggestion. But Plarium is not that evil. The game is actually giving you free stuff everyday for just basically doing nothing.
They also implemented the Artifact filtering system, that you can "try on" gears and see the stats without paying silver and they don't gain anything from this.
I don't blame you if you only notice the bad things in the game. This is typical for a human being.
As for the suggestion, if I remember it right, I believe this has been suggested before.
