How  about  implementing  a  widget  for  both  ios  and  android  where  it  shows  your  energy/keys/gems  etc.  You  could  also  do  a  widget  for  "available  quests",  "new  things"  (the  red  dots)  and  similar  notifications.  Maybe  also  one  to  show  your  defence/offense  arena  standing  or  tournament  standings.
