Its a bit of a grind and tougher than classic arena on a match by match basis i think. Been going for a year and i've reached Bronze III and no matter how many wins i get bronze IV never gets any closer. Yep, is does feel a bit tedious at times.
buy the drexthar fragments every day. You could have a free lego by now, one that is useful without books at level 50. I'd say that is worth buying.
I would also suggest using tag to test different teams, and learn team synergy.
You can set your teams to a 1 man defenses from monday to friday/saturday. If you drop low enough you'll face mostly 1 man defenses making the farming much quicker.
