Who do you use for campaign farming at the moment? The first criterium for your first six star is, it should be someone who can solo farm campaign, brutal 12.3 specifically (meaning, who can run and win that stage while dragging along 3 ungeared sacrifice champions, so as to get XP as efficiently as possible and lots of silver in the process). 

Galek can definitely do that, as one of the four starter champions - but Galek is arguably the worst champion of the four overall, you'll probably stop using him sooner than you'll stop using the others. I wonder if Lua could do it as well though, with the kind of gear you're likely to have - if she can, then definitely take her first because she's much better than Galek in other parts of the game. 

Although people hate me for saying this, I have to admit that my first 60 was executioner and after a year and a half I still think it was the right choice 

Do you have any other champions?  Other rares?  There is even an uncommon some people use as a dedicated campaign farmer, Saurus.  With good artifacts, he can become a dedicated 12.3 farmer if you can not find somebody else.

I also have Fellhound and Baerdan Fellhammer. I don’t have them at 5 stars yet though. I can currently 2 man 12.3 with Galek and Lightsworn, so dungeon progression is a little bit more important to me right now. I didn’t think Relickeeper, Spider, or Romero would be good options but I have them also. 

Nothing is more important than being able to level food champions faster - because that's the way to get more 6* champions faster, which means more progress everywhere in the game, including dungeons.
