Anyone having issues with the automated upgrade option continuing beyond the set level?

Several times today while using the upgrade option to upgrade 1 level, it has continued to run after successfully upgrading to the desired level.

One instance of this occurred while attempting to upgrade from 15 to 16, I looked away, heard the success tone, then heard it again, and again, after being maxed out.

I am pasting a link below of an example where I opted to upgrade only one level, from 10 to 11, but the game continued after the upgrade completed.
