If you talk about current event the chance of getting legendaries and epics is NOT boosted.
If you happen to get a legendary or epic. The chance of getting a specific is higher.
So currently you chance of getting a legendary i 0,5%. Meaning you need 200 to be on par for 1.
with 85 ancients shards you should have gotten about 7 epics. Abit of bad luck and you are quickly looking and 3-4.Yes, as I had said - BUSTED. Buggy, unbalanced, expensive, and out of fairness and satisfaction but nice graphic.Actually that is the part that works as intended, if you bother to read how the chances works and you study your statistics, the shards system are working perfectly.
RSL is a gambling game. Mathematics runs against players so they are frustrated and willing to buy way too expensives packs.
That also why when you start the game, you are spammed with useless annoying unskippable "special offers" things. They want you to pay.
Furthermore seeing how well each release works, it would be suprising that rng is develloped in a messy way. Like predetermined % when shard is created, not when it is used. Or % said to be higher but randominzer bugged.
You will eventually find that some champions have way higher chance to pop than other even though it supposed to be same chance for each champions of same rarity.
