I would like to know why, we are having difficulty improving artifacts from level up to level 12, and worse up to level 16?
Because a lot of parts expenses.

Save up at least 2 mil silver to upgrade from +8 to +16
Why it's hard? Because it really does improve your heroes SIGNIFICANTLY to have a full +16 6* artifacts. Specially if you use the right gear.
Heck no need for 6*, you can gear your heroes with 5*, then get all of it to +16, you'd feel instant improvement.
So yeah, that's why it's kinda hard to max up the gear level.
