I think I got stuck with Monster at 8.7, I think up to that point I could have used just about anyone. Actually a couple took over 10 minutes so I didn't get the 3 starts.  Been a month since I tried NM, I think I will need to revisit soon myself.  

I didn't do the whole NM campaign with Miscreated Monster but completed 12-7 with him. I used MM with Paragon for the unkillable strat. 

Tayrel is also really valuable for finishing NM campaign btw, have you tried Martyr-Tayrel? They'd need to be extremely tanky though, preferably with Lifesteal sets. 

The best combination is to use some dmg dealer with a tanky champ who can resurrect and heal with lots of speed and defence. 

Skullcrown and Fang Cleric might be able to clear a level, but the damage output would be so low that most runs would exceed 10 minutes. Based on your champion list, i'd suggest running tayrel and miscreated monster. I cleared almost all of NM with them, save 12-7 and a few levels of 11 when the affinity disadvantage became too telling.
