1st Im hearing of it but ill mention it. 

Did they make a change to show cumulative damage over multiple keys instead of showing your single key best?  That could also explain it.

I have run both keys on UNM Chimera a couple of times for trial rewards, but I have no memory of burning an extra key on UNM Demon Lord, but that certainly could've happened.  

Well, there's something weird about it anyway;

Almost everyone in my clan running a demon lord titus team is showing 4.2-ish B, though oddly not all showing 4.29, some are showing 4.5, some 4.1, the guy with the best team in my clan is showing 6.2B for demon lord.

Looking at my own, I know the numbers for hydra and chimera are correct, 'cause I set both those Personal Bests in the last month. Not sure about demonlord 'cause I don't use a titus team there, but it's a little more than double what i usually do: It could be 2x from the event, it could be that I used an extra key there by accident sometime, it could also be from some comp I tried out but abandoned for not being 100% consistent

Seems like a possibility.  Id have to check my own numbers to see what they say.

shocked, just shocked to the core. 

This matters to me because I use the numbers in the player card when evaluating applications to join my clan.  

Having Hydra & Chimera numbers be potentially way off base is bad.
