Clear 8 cursed city stages on hard quest. I did 5 last rotation, I cleared 3 more today and didn't get the quest. Is it broken, or does it need to be 8 unique stages? So the 5 opening ones, then Bommal or nether spider, then 2 more?

From what I understand, the mentor quest tracks 8 completed Hard Cursed City stages within the current rotation, not necessarily across multiple rotations. If you completed 5 stages in the previous rotation and then 3 after the reset, those earlier clears may not count toward the same quest progress.
It doesn't usually require 8 different bosses or completely unique stages— just 8 qualifying Hard-mode stage clears that meet the quest requirements during the active rotation. However, some players have reported that progress can occasionally fail to update immediately, so it's worth checking the quest tracker and restarting the game to force a refresh.
