Background auto climb is too slow and it keeps you from doing anything meaningful.
Post here and lets send a message. We cannot let people forget that this is not acceptable.

I mean, background multibattle is still usually faster than regular mutlibattle, and with the old multibattle you couldn;t do anything else meaningful either, but you had something to watch if you didn't just afk anyway.
What they *should* do is change background multibattle to quickbattle.
Sounds like other activities will be coming soon with background battles. That said I still think it should be the players choice.
The biggest problem with background autobattles is that they don't let you do anything other than live arena.
If they really want background autobattles to be useful, they need to make it so you can do content that requires attention while they're happening - eg, stuff like hydra, chimera, sintranos, etc.

At least it sounds like they're working on opening up more areas.
