You certainly look ready to fuse the two Epics. What happens when you try to add them? 

The Fuse button is grayed out.  If I recall, we need to click that to start the fusion and it prompts the rest of the procedure.

Click on the individual slots where the rares go, then the champ in your inventory then once all 4 are selected the gray button is last.

This is the way.

Should clarify, I'm actually often helpful but not without simultaneously degrading the individual (or an entire player segment or majority of players...).
