4th time in a row my clan is matched up against a much stronger clan. My clan is young with a power of 51.26M and 3 CVC wins and is lvl 8. We are matched up against a clan with a power of 242.74M and 77 wins and is lvl 17. How is that balanced?
I hear ya man. The balancing of macthups in this game are pretty far out balanced like in LIVE arena.
Am in a newer clan myself and 1 out 5 times when personal reward cvc rounds come up we're always put against clans twice as strong. Where's the motivation to win personal rewards or waste energy to try and win against an unbeatable OP clan.... we 40mil power them 140mil. Is like putting Mike Tyson in the ring with Napoleon Dynomite 😆
The other issue is they pit eastern clans vs. western clans. The eastern ones start during normal living time and get a jump on the west then it stops again while normal people in the west are sleeping.

Yes. This happens to my clan 80%+ of the time. Constantly matched to Eastern European & Russian Clans.
CVC match-making is based exclusively on points scored in the very last CVC. It is very easy for clans to manipulate that to get better matchups for PR CVC. It has been going on for years, and Plarium has never done anything about it or even acknowledged it as a problem. At this point, it is fair to say that the susceptibility to manipulation is an intentional part of the design.
Clan Power, Clan Activity, Clan Level, Number of Members.....has nothing to do with CVC matching.
