For alien characters I wish
This is my way of introducing Xenomorph Champion Concept
**Faction Concept:** Alien / Parasite / Darkspawn-style crossover
**Role:** High-risk control, evolution, and team conversion
F toor land-based enemies like the Xenomorph, the Facehugger attack would not instantly kill a champion. Instead, when a Facehugger successfully attacks, the affected champion is **put into a deep sleep**, becoming temporarily unusable but not removed from battle.
If the infected champion still has teammates remaining in the squad, the Facehugger detaches and the incubation process begins. After a short period or once certain battle conditions are met, a **baby Xenomorph bursts free**, immediately fleeing the battlefield instead of continuing to fight.
This baby Xenomorph later **returns as a fully grown adult**, but with a twist. When it comes back, it can re-enter the fight as a **new unit**, either joining the opposing side or, in special cases, being added to the player’s team. The adult Xenomorph inherits **attributes, bonuses, or traits** from the champion it was born from, making every encounter feel personal and unpredictable.
Champions who are **immortal, regenerative, or capable of strong healing** do not permanently die from the process. They recover and return to combat, but must now face the evolved Xenomorph that was created from them. This creates a tense narrative loop where survival comes at a cost, as players are forced to confront an enemy shaped by their own strengths.
The result is a system where Xenomorph encounters feel dangerous without being unfair. Losing a champion can lead to gaining a powerful but unstable ally, while surviving the infection creates a rival enemy with enhanced abilities.
