Mino Super Raids - Lazy Programming is Stealing Energy

My clan won our PR CvC this week, so I dumped 2400 NRG into Mino Runs this afternoon.  I happened to be watching the screen when Krixia crossed from White to Green, and she only received one run worth of scrolls because that capped her whites, and she received no scrolls for teh second half of the Super Raid.

Since I noticed it the first time, I paid attention when we approached crossing from Greens to Reds, and the exact same thing happened.  I ran single runs to get Krixia within one run's worth of scrolls, and in this picture, Krixia has 591 of 600 Green Scrolls.  One run on Mino 15 nets 11-16 Greens and 6-12 Reds.

i

Setting up the next run as a Super Raid. If this was programmed correctly, the drops for each half of the Super Raid would be calculated independently, just like Dungeons.

i

Here are the results of the Super Raid.  Krixia capped Greens, but earned zero Reds, so that means no Reward for the second half of the Super Raid....which is essentially 14 stolen energy every time a toon advances from one scroll type to the next.

i

Mino Super Raids should never have been introduced with this LAZY PROGRAMMING, and it needs to be adressed ASAP.  It should be a relatively easy fix: When running Super Raids on Mino, calculate the scroll drops for each run separately, just like Dungeon Super Raids.

Who knows how much energy Plarium has stolen from the player base already.  At 28 per toon, it has to measure in the tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands already.

😆

I thought this was gonna be a bot copy paste post from reddit when I saw the title...

But seriously, "stealing energy "? Lol

It's no different from running 2x on campaign and losing xp (or having energy stolen ). Not sure how this is a surprise.

No other comments in 5 days suggests that OP rant is a bit over the top and my reply was just the usual asshole trip suck it up buttercup response.

😆 🤣

I thought I laid this out in such a way that even a Plarium Defender like you would recognize the laziness of the programming here.  There is no excuse to have it programmed like this. If Dungeon Super Raids gave two of the exact same artifact, Discord & Reddit would be on fire. This doesn't rise to that response because most players are too oblivious to even notice. It is only random chance that I was paying attention at just the right moment.

IMO, Super Raids on Mino were worth almost nothing before, and now that I realize I am losing an extra 28 energy per toon every time, they are worth less than nothing. I farm Mino with Marius in about 20 seconds, and won't ever use Super Raids again.

As far as no comments on this Post?  The Forum is bascailly dead, and the recent barrage of Spam Bot Bans may be the final nail in the coffin.  Even the die hard regulars like you and me aren't posting much the last two weeks.  I got banned about 10 times in less than a week just for replying to threads.  No better way to kill a Forum deader than dead.

If you're running 1 champ at a time, set it so the runs will stop slightly before they hit max green and red scrolls, and just single run the last couple. Or if you're doing multiple champs, and keep an eye on it, same thing, stop it before champs are about to hit max green/red and single run until they do.

Or just accept that costing either 14 or 28 more energy when it already takes on average 2170 to full scroll a champ is an acceptable trade off for cutting the time in half

You're absolutely right about it being lazy coding though.

Does the whole team get scrolls on only 1 random not maxed?

Each run, (or super-run) only one champ who isnt at max scrolls will be randomly selected to get them.

Part of Wiley's issue is that if you're doing the double runs, it will *always* be one randomly chosen champ getting a single drop of scrolls multiplied by 2, instead of 2 seperately calculated loot drops, like every other super-raid in the game. Hence: lazy coding

Yes.  That is the entire issue.  Just another example of idiotic/lazy programming.

I have mostly given up commenting about Hydra AI, but the examples of idiocy are still rampant there.  I still have toons going crazy against Heads with Serpent's Will, even though that has supposedly been fixed a couple of times.

I consider it efficient programming, exactly what I would have done knowing full well how it would function.  2 bytes of code reducing time required in mino by 50%.  Maybe 49% 😆.
