My assumption would be so that Palarium can get more money. If I knew for sure where I was at I would wait for the duplicate legendary events. This way the whales of the world will throw more money towards the RNG.

I think lack of knowledge of the player base is more of a "skill issue" than plariums fault.  Can't blame them for individual stupidity  lol

Comfort in a game where you can dump endless amounts of money seems to be a tall order. All a bit palling.
