The farther you progress in the game, there is no more important stat than speed.  Eventually, you will want speed boots on almost every toon, unless you can get multiple speed substat hits on a pair of Def% or Atk% boots, and then, you will find a use for a few of those, but honestly, not that many.

Apeed* is rly the best stats for boots .. its the only piece you can get it on main stat (crit dmg , gloves and amulet , acc/rez chest , banner , etc )

Hence why other boots without main stat Apeed* are less desirable :P

Yes, speed boots drop from Palace in Campaign but really only worth farming on Nightmare (since they can be 6* there) and that's probably not the best use of energy.

You can technically get speed stat boots anywhere where boots drop or can be forged though, just not from the Speed set.
