Doesn't kick out old members, no. Effectively grandfathered in.

On the plus side, got some sweet epics and a few good rares from shards, 6* a toon for Faction Wars/Arena/Fire Knight, promoted tons of food, and am getting some clan rewards anyway.  I'm having a great CvC, would be nice to have some mates in the trenches, though.

I'm glad you're at least enjoying the CvC some. 

Something to think about though... Probably worth it for you to join an established clan and cluster if you want to simplify that process of having fellow participants, earning rewards, etc

If you want to go it alone with your own starter clan, no worries, that's a way to go about it. However your progress will suffer for about as long as you play, and suffer very significantly until you're killing every clan boss from UNM to Hard daily. Then repeat that for Hydra and Hydra rewards down the road.

The months where you're doubling up your CB rewards and using that to progress faster through to harder CB, then the same with Hydra, and the game as a whole, well it's just exponential growth.

That makes sense.  As I'm myself only 700k+, and I'm only doing 30-32 million on Normal CB with two keys, I can actually stick and grow with the clan.  I'm not yet where I have a team to hang with higher levels of CB.

And I think I'm finally getting the hang of resource management.  On days I have +100% exp, I farm heaviest, and then I use other days to farm gear, potions, and Minotaur 15 to advance my growing army, with farming using the remaining energy.  Mystical (green) shards are what I'm using for food, I gem the shards I want to buy, etc.  That was a steep learning curve, but asking folks here has helped.  Thanks, everyone.

Quick note that power on your account means nothing, as it's just the sum of the power of your champs basically, and that formula is stupid, weighted insanely, and indicates practically nothing about what CB you can hit, how strong your arena teams are, etc

For example, I had an account hitting top chest NM CB at 300k player power. Team synergy, champ build quality and good mechanic use means everything. Power tells you nothing about that combination.
