I worked really hard last week, grinding several hours to get the required fragments for this Champion. Earlier this morning, I went to check the status and to my surprise, the last available frags are in the tourneys or events being played now. I'm going to be short like 10 or 15 because I didn't realize you had to place in one of the events/tourneys to gain more that's needed. What a bummer!
Personally, I am waiting to pull my 150 ancients. I doubt we have a 2x this weekend since we just had 2x ancient last week. However, it feels very weird to not even have a progressive chance event. So I still expect to see some kind of summoning event announced some time today.
Just my guess though with no official statements from Plarium.
You do not need the additional ones you can get as rewards for placing high in some tournaments.
If you are falling short on fragments, you most likely have missed some tournaments or events..
