given that you've been around long enough you can:

either develop a reasonably high damage team on auto or concede the relatively minuscule amount of resources you lose out on

your three options are one of the two above or continuing to rage into the abyss 🙃

'Use a hydra key' should never, ever, be a daily quest. Move it to weekly, or monthly and make it 'use 3 hydra keys'

auto key still takes 1.5 hours. 

I will stick to option 3 until the quest stops showing up 2x per week.

If you do all 3 keys immediately at reset I gurantee you won't get this mission anymore.  🧠

I noticed a lot of people in my clan used to just waste a key, most likely due to this quest. My clan has recently added hydra key/dmg requirements due to this type of play.

The fact is that you actually do this. You always seem to plan those three keys for right after Clash Reset.

Yes I enjoy these tactics myself. 

Yup, 3 full auto teams makes it easy. 

I'm someone who waits till the end of the week to use my keys, because 1 I'm not sure what changes I'll make to champions whether it's gear, books, etc. Then 2 there are strategic advantages to knowing how many points needed to secure a top 3 clan spot. 

I don't mind having this quest when it is during the last couple days before reset, but I've had this quest the last 2 days in a row with 5 and now 4 days left. 

Why say you have until this time to do this and then force players to use them certain days knowing this is something that takes time? I'm sure majority of players do hydra certain days when they have this extra time.

To downplay how someone views their resources by calling them miniscule is unacceptable by a "moderator". I know for myself every energy refill is important, especially with the increase in what is needed daily to complete quest, IT, etc. I didn't hear any constructive advice given to the OP by any Moderators. Just goof off responses that don't address how most people feel about this. That's fine if there isn't a fix or a response that anyone wants to hear, but if you don't have anything besides waste a key on AUTO,  or build an AUTO team (which takes alot of time) then say I'll pass it along and keep it to yourself. 

I understand you've got a position to fulfill, but when people are frustrated it's not ok to give an I don't really care attitude.

evilized is a long term player who's made a similar post/request a few times so I'm having a bit of fun with him. context might be important. (I also get to be active on the forum as a player, not just as a faceless automaton moderator. that said, as moderators we've forwarded the feedback many, many times on the topic but have not been given the indication it will be changing anytime soon.)

I just want to say its very true I rage about this quest every couple months on these forums.

(I mean, tbh it doesn't affect *me* that much, but if i were the sort person who had a life and a sleep schedule I'd have to choose between doing hydra or working on cvc, wouldn;t have the hours to do both AND go to work the next day)
